ScienceClass is an interactive, conversational Web and print resource dedicated to science teaching and learning. The online portion of the ScienceClass Teaching and Learning Network(tm) consists of four main Web domains: scienceclass.com - the main hub for the Network; scienceclass.net - the Web services host (coming soon); scienceclass.tv - programming for streaming media, broadband content and broadcast programming listings (coming soon); and k12 Science Store - our catalog of science and technology hardware, software, services, and related items from ScienceWorks, Inc. and affiliates.

There are many educational portals and communities for teachers, parents, and students, but few that focus specifically on the science teaching and learning community. The branded network approach provides scale for expanded services, ancilliaries, and commerce, as well as many possibilities for private and public partnerships.
Who runs ScienceClass?
ScienceClass is run by veterans of technology and education. What began as a product showcase for ScienceWorks, Inc. of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has expanded into content development, news, careers, training and professional, software development and distribution, and communication services and now runs as a wholly owned subsidiary of ScienceWorks, Inc.
Who is ScienceWorks?
ScienceWorks, Inc., developers and distributors of educational software and simulations, was founded in 1988 by teachers and specialists experienced in science and technology education at the K-12 levels. Their backgrounds include authoring science text books, state and local recognition as educators, and over 100 years combined experience in education and specialized areas. ScienceWorks has 12 active published educational titles, has more in development, and is expanding to include third party developers and web delivered teaching and learning applications.
