We have tested our products on various configurations of Windows NT and Windows
2000/XP and have found no problems installing and running the programs. Your

are also compatible with all versions of Macintosh OS 7.1-9.2.2 and OS X in

4. Are your products networkable?
Currently, our CD-ROM based products may or may not be (depending
on your network) accessed from multiple desktops on a Local Area Network. Certain
products require a runtime installation on each client, and it is recommended
that the full program be installed on a file server hard disk (with CD-ROM drive
emulation) or multiple copies loaded for those with CD-ROM towers for optimal
performance. Check for new products and product updates for TCP/IP networking
capabilities. We will be optimizing our product line for network compatibility
beginning early in 2004. Number of users accessing the programs will be subject
to license.

9. What are these error messages and what do they mean?
Some software require that the original CD be in a working CD drive. If the
entire CD is copied to a hard drive and the program run from there, it is likely
that error message will occur as the program may not be designed to work without
access to the actual CD. Try running the program with the CD in a CD drive to
remove most error messages... expecially those dealing with video or files.

10. The program installs but does not run.
Try installing the version of QuickTime that comes on the install CD with the
program. This should be tried (on Windows systems) even though a newer version
is currently installed on your computer. QuickTime problems generally do not
affect Macintosh systems; so, just about any version equal to, or newer than,
that on the install CD should work.

11. I can't find my activation number. What can I do?
Call Science Works, Inc. at 336.712.0353 during regular posted hours or email support@scienceclass.com and explain your problem. Be prepared to furnish proof of purchase if requested.
12. Video clips only flash but won't run. What can I do?
Generally, this only occurs with Windows XP (Macintosh is unaffected.) It is caused by an incompatible version of Quicktime being used with the program. Email support@scienceclass.com for additional information by explaining your problem and the affected program.
